Ah, 'tis the dawn of a new day
In fact a Thursday I t'ink
In the bunk longer I could lay
But there are miles to be sailed, quick as a wink

For I hear the call of my mistress strong, loud, clear
Through the ocean, the sky, the albatross, Cape Horn beckons, she is near
Only when the Horn is rounded will I consider the task able to be done
There are 2,700 miles left until I meet her, at the end of this run

Take care,

Tony Mowbray
