I win the prize for goose of the day. I'm the one who keeps talking about eliminating your weak links, because you are only as strong as your weakest one. I went to a lot of trouble re-building the steering system, which consists of a complicated series of pulleys cables, etc. with the cables being a component that will definitely wear out over time. I fitted new cables and chain earlier this year and made up a complete spare set. I have left the whole spare set at home in the garage ..... idiot !!!!
